We formulate with real ingredients, around their nature, not against them. We use whole butters, plant oils, and West African botanicals, gently preserved. No parabens, sulfates, phthalates, silicones, synthetic dyes, or mineral oil. Nothing compromised.
How to use

Warm a small amount between your palms. Apply to damp skin after bathing, dry hands and feet, stretch marks, scars, hair ends, or baby's skin. Use to soothe eczema, razor bumps, diaper rash and weather-worn skin. A little goes a long way.
A note from Nina

This one exists because of my husband. He had grown so used to raw shea that when a trip meant leaving the big jar behind, he was truly not happy about it. So I made one that travels.

The same butter from Bougouni, small enough for any bag, keeping us protected and never far from the feeling of home. That is what shea has always been for us.

The women who know these trees

Our shea is gathered and hand processed by a women's cooperative in Bougouni, Mali, the way it has always been done. Their work is seen and fairly paid. From their hands, we make every product in small batches in North Carolina.
