Our shea butter is wild-harvested and hand processed in Bougouni, Mali, and comes to you raw and unrefined. Nothing heated away, nothing bleached out, nothing compromised.

We formulate with real ingredients, around their nature, not against them. We use whole butters, plant oils, and West African botanicals, gently preserved. No parabens, sulfates, phthalates, silicones, synthetic dyes, or mineral oil. Nothing compromised.
How to use

Warm a small amount between your palms. Apply to damp skin after bathing, dry hands and feet, stretch marks, scars, hair ends, or baby's skin. Use to soothe eczema, razor bumps, diaper rash and weather-worn skin. A little goes a long way.
A note from Nina

In my house, this jar never gets put away. My children grew up with it the way I did, for winter cheeks, fresh braids, rough knees, and quiet moments before bed.

It was the first product to carry the Sanoun name. My wish is that it becomes the jar your family reaches for whenever something needs care.

Our shea is gathered and hand processed by a women's cooperative in Bougouni, Mali, the way it has always been done. Their work is seen and fairly paid. From our hands to yours, we make every product in small batches in North Carolina.
