Hair care the way our grandmothers practiced it: unhurried and hands on. We steep whole rosemary sprigs and clove buds for weeks in nourishing plant oils and shea butter, yes, that shea butter, giving the herbs time to release everything they have before the oil ever touches your scalp.

A gentle warmth tells you it is working where you put it. Used consistently, it supports the look of stronger, fuller, more vibrant hair. Growth is not a miracle. It is a scalp cared for, ends protected, and a ritual you keep.

A ritual for the long game

Ingredients
Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Eugenia Caryophyllus (Clove) Bud Extract, Tocopherol (Vitamin E)

We formulate with real ingredients, around their nature, not against them. We use whole butters, plant oils, and West African botanicals, gently preserved. No parabens, sulfates, phthalates, silicones, synthetic dyes, or mineral oil. Nothing compromised.

How to use

Part hair into sections and apply a few drops directly to the scalp, then massage in slowly with your fingertips. Use two to three times a week, or warm the oil slightly for a deeper pre wash treatment. A drop or two on the ends seals in moisture. Consistency is the whole secret. For external use only.

A note from Nina

After my second child, I lost hair around my hairline. Watching my edges thin shook my confidence, but I also needed to stop treating my body as if it had failed me.

Our hair products grew from that season. Over time, my edges began to fill in, and I hope this ritual helps you feel patient with your body and less alone.

The women who know these trees

Our shea is gathered and hand processed by a women's cooperative in Bougouni, Mali, the way it has always been done. Their work is seen and fairly paid. From Bougouni to your home, we make every product in small batches in North Carolina.

Start with your porosity

How Hair Oil works with your porosity

Use your porosity to choose the right starting number of drops for this finishing oil.

Closely layered cuticle edges

Low porosity

Slow to take in water; rich product may sit on top.

For leave-in: start with 2–3 drops

Warm the drops between your palms and smooth lightly over damp ends. Add only if your hair absorbs the first layer.

Moderately layered cuticle edges

Medium porosity

Takes in and holds water steadily.

For leave-in: start with 4–6 drops

Smooth over damp strands and ends to help seal in moisture. Observe how your hair responds before adding more.

More raised and irregular cuticle edges

High porosity

Takes in and loses water quickly.

For leave-in: start with 6–10 drops

Smooth over damp strands after your leave-in or butter. Reinforce dry-feeling ends with a few more drops as needed.

Soft skin. Nourished hair. Rituals you can trust.
