We formulate with real ingredients, around their nature, not against them. We use whole butters, plant oils, and West African botanicals, gently preserved. No parabens, sulfates, phthalates, silicones, synthetic dyes, or mineral oil. Nothing compromised.
How to use

Melt gently in a double boiler over low heat and remove from heat as soon as it turns liquid. High heat degrades the compounds that make unrefined shea worth using. Blends cleanly into body butters, soaps, balms, and hair care.

Store cool, dark, and sealed. Use within 12 months of the batch date on your box.

Our shea is gathered and hand processed by a women's cooperative in Bougouni, Mali, the way it has always been done. Their work is seen and fairly paid. From Bougouni to your home, we make every product in small batches in North Carolina.
